REQUIREMENTS
Limpopo province based unemployed graduates in possession of recognised agricultural qualification at a minimum level of a diploma / degree in Animal and Plant Production. South African unemployed graduates with the above qualifications will be considered. Targeted beneficiaries are youth of which 50% are women and 2% are people with disabilities. Graduates from Limpopo Agricultural college are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be entering similar programme in government for the first time, however, it should be noted that this initiative is not an internship programme. Graduates who are currently on an internship programme will not be given first preference unless they have already completed their internship programme.
Applicants who have completed their qualification in 2017 and are awaiting their formal qualifications must provide us with the confirmation letter and endorsed academic record from their institution (failure to do so your application will not be considered)
DUTIES
Successful applicants will be offered a twelve (12) months comprehensive contract for structured on the job training to enable them to gain practical work experience and a better understanding of the needs and realities of the Public Service. This will prepare the interns for proper entry into the formal job market. Interns in the Government Departments are to be offered a minimum stipend as follows:-
- a) Diploma, Degree and Honours Degree= R 5 353.75 per months b) Master’s Degree= R 7 776.15 per months c) Doctoral Degree= R 8 208.03 per months
