Requirements
To become one of the learners in Exxaro Learnerships, you have to meet their requirements and qualification firstly.
To apply for their learnership in Engineering candidate require the following:
- Grade 12 education with E or higher for English and Mathematics
- Must have a driver’s license
- Possess a South African ID
- Technical Grade 12 – All subjects on E or higher – English, Science, Mathematics, Trade Theory & Technical Drawing
- N2 Qualification – English, Engineering Drawing, Mathematics & Engineering Science
- N2 Plater – English, Mathematics, Engineering Science/Engineering Drawing & Structural Drawing With relevant trade theory
- N3 – Electrical Trade
- NVC 4 – All subjects E or higher
To apply for their learnership in Engineering candidate require the following:
- Grade 12 education with E or higher for English and Mathematics
- Must have a driver’s license
- Possess a South African ID
You also need to be a South Africa citizen and will need to pass a medical examination (done at Exxaro), as well as a psychometric evaluation.
Candidates on the shortlist will be contacted for an interview, they may also be asked to partake in a competency evaluation. For qualification, candidates must pass all requirements and tests, yet, this does not automatically qualify a candidate for a learnership.
