Anglo American Learnership Programme 2019,
Interested? You will need a certificate or statement of results if certificate is not yet issued (progress reports will not be accepted) with the following subjects:
MILLWRIGHT: Minimum N2 with Mathematics • Engineering Science Industrial Electronics • Electrical Trade Theory • Fitting and Machining Trade Theory
PLATER / WELDER: • Minimum N2 with Mathematics • Engineering Science • Platers’ Theory as subjects.
Management Assistant: Minimum N6 with Communication, Information Processing, Office Practice and Computer Practice as subjects.
You must pass an aptitude test and interview, as well as a medical assessment, before the learnership will commence.
Preference will be given to HDSA & WIM.
Learnerships include: • Stipend/allowance per month • Learnership agreement • Subsidised accommodation and meals (only for students outside Kathu) • Toolbox (will become the property of the learner after the successful completion of the trade test) • Free PPE • Free training.
Training Programme for Artisan Learner:
- 1st year: Institutional (Theory) Training at SIVOS Technical Training Centre, Sishen Mine
- 2nd year: On-the-job/core training at Sishen Mine
- 3rd year: Complete Trade Test
