RCL Foods Technician Internship 2018 / 2019 in Pretoria, RCL Foods Invites applicants to apply for Technician internship Programme for academic year 2018 / 2019 in Pretoria. The duration of this Internship Programme is 12 months. Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend during their placement. A vacancy exist for a R&D Technician Intern at Milling in Pretoria West. The position will report to the R&D Manager . The successful incumbent will be responsible for executing the daily analysis and other tasks within the scope of the Research and Development Department.
Requirements
- Matric with mathematics
- B Tech Food Technology, BSc: Food Science or equivalent qualification
- Computer literacy courses
- Valid driver’s license
Knowledge and skills
- Basic Food Chemistry
- Basic understanding of Laboratory practices
- Computer literacy
- Administrative skills
- Planning skills
- Basic knowledge of bread making will be an advantage
Key responsibilities
- Conducting routine and ad-hoc baking tests (laboratory)
- Evaluation of baked products
- Test Baking Reports
- Assist with preparation for factory trials
- Support during factory trials
- Development of equipment standards
